![]() | Christine Walker Christine was a multi-sport athlete in school. She has competitively played basketball, soccer, softball, volleyball and flag football in city leagues and college intramurals. In 1989 I was voted Best Female Athlete for our co-ed flag football league. I was a wide receiver and safety. We won the State Championship that season. Injuries lead her to coaching in the late 1990’s. She began with basketball and soccer teams for youth CYO and city leagues. In 2002, she coached volleyball for a 6th grade team, and immediately fell in love with the sport. Since then she has coached all ages from 3rd graders to 12th graders. The longest running volleyball team I coached had a final overall record of 55-3, with several league championships. She enjoys teaching female athletes important life lessons through playing their sports. Currently Christine is in her second year as the Varsity Head Coach at Norton High School. |
