COLLEGE COACHES

AVC trains and develops many high performance players who have the ability and desire to play and achieve success at the college level. Coaches and club staff are available to assist college coaches in matching players to thier needs for a specific recruiting year. College coaches are asked to contact the club director or specific coach of the age group they are recruiting. Player details can be found on each team page linked below.

COLLEGE RECRUITING HELP

AVC offers recruiting help to players and parents as an add-on service. A counselor will help you get started and track your progress through the recruiting process each year.

• Recruiting Process Guidance - Guidance sessions to understand the recruiting process and knowing what each athlete should do (and not do) each school year
• Recruiting Checklist - Provide the athlete and parents a comprehensive checklsit actions to perform each school year
• College Selection - Narrow down your college search based on field of study, volleyball program strength, location, and other important decision factors.
• Coach Communications - How to properly reach out and establish communications with the colleges you are interested in.
• Recruiting Videos - Professional recruiting video filming & editing services
• Getting Coaches’ Attention - Hot to get noticed in a sea of volleyball recruits

Basic Service Package - $95/season

• Initial Information gathering and consultation to plan your recruiting process
• Narrows down the list of schools to consider based on the athlete’s desires and needs
• Create a recruiting action plan
• Periodic guidance sessions to update the athlete’s recruiting action plan, provide guidance, and monitor progress
• Guidance on best practices for recruiting videos
• Future college recruiting showcase information and guidance on how to get noticed at showcase events
• Recruiting advice directly from college coaches

Full Service Package - $395/year

• Everything in the Basic Service Package plus…
• College coach contact and recommendation service. Let us do the work in properly initiating contact with coaches and providing written recommendations from your coaches.
• Recruiting Video filming, editing, and posting.
• Creation of player profiles on the top volleyball recruiting websites and link to your recruiting videos.
• Personalized promotion of the athlete in a periodic newsletter of non-committed athletes that is sent to college coaches across the country

RECRUITNG SEMINARS

The Academy for volleyball will be conducting informational sessions for parents and athletes on the college recruiting process, NCAA recruiting rules, and tips on how to get noticed by college and university coaches.

The sessions will be conducted by professionals who understand the recruiting process and will include guest speakers such as college coaches and parents of scholarship athletes who can describe their experience of their child achieving an athletic scholarship.

• Why you should begin the process as Freshman or earlier.
• Why you need to market yourself even if your are being contacted by colleges.
• How much aid is available across the various college divisions.
• How competitive college recruiting  can be.
