OUR MISSION: We believe that it is imperative for young players to receive proper volleyball training while learning important life lessons in responsibility, preparedness, and teamwork. At AVC, we prepare players with the physical and mental skills they need to be better athletes, overcome obstacles, and achieve their goals, both on and off the court. We provide a training environment for all skill levels to develop volleyball aptitude, build confidence, and most importantly, have fun. This is what we do.

Precontracted players do NOY need to attend the tryout but still need to register. For more information, check out our tryout page.

We are excited to announce our plans to Return to Play at AVC! We have been given the guidance and instructions from USAV, OVR, and State of Ohio so that we can resume skills training. Our plan is to begin on or around June 1st with team skills training.
As excited as we are, we are still putting emphasis on safety. There will be procedures that we will be communicating to maximize the safety of everyone involved. However, as USAV has stated, “Until COVID-19 is either eradicated, a vaccine is developed, or a cure is found, there is no way to completely eliminate the risk of infection…”
The new procedures will follow USAV Guidelines and those set forth by the Responsible Restart Ohio rules for Sports Training. This means that we will NOT go right back to how things were prior to the pandemic. The new procedures will include items such as:
We will be phasing in team skills training with a soft opening of some teams before other team trainings are scheduled. This will allow AVC staff to fine tune or change any procedures as necessary. We hope to conduct multiple trainings per week for each team through July or until the High School Season begins.
Again, we are excited and we know you are excited to be able to return to volleyball training at AVC! More information on dates and procedures will be coming very soon.
For those that couldnot attend the parent meeting, here is the handout.
CONGRATULATIONS to 8 teams for qualifying for the 2019 USAV National Championships!
